Jay Cutler....tough, leader, prepared, listens, feedback....

This is per my SOURCE, not an interview. Granted it is a media person, but not one going to write an article about it, so Fox isnt spewing it out thinking its like talking to Biggs or Mully and whatever he says is going into the paper tomorrow....

and I believe everything he said is real....too bad it doesnt result in a great QB.

Well, he might like Matt Forte the best ? and while he was talking to a media person, thus he knows his statements could get out, the conversation was just for that persons own knolwedge at this time. Would be like talking to Rich Eisen. He isnt writing any articles tomorrow, but he knows that maybe in 2 months one day on the air, the comments come out....

So, he didnt need to select Cutler at all. Could have gone with the rookie RB trying to give him some confidence or the Rookie WR.....

I think Jay is past the "needs the coaches support". I dont think anything a coach says or does effects Jay. At best, a coach convinces Jay to only make easy throws and NEVER try for anything difficult...as I think every coach has said it and I am sure he agrees, but always thinks he can make that throw...or he overthrows....and INT comes around.

What coach wouldnt come in here, see a QB that can roll out, can throw a bullet, knows all the plays, coverages, etc...and they think "I AM GOING TO BE THE COACH WHO MAKES THIS GUY GREAT"...thats what scares me.

everything about jay cutler is good... except when he takes the field he's prone to split second dumb decision throws.... too bad that flaw keeps you from being a great QB.

The coaches see the talent and think its all in his head. So they come and say "He's my guy"

Tressman did too.

They cant come out and say "We need to upgrade at QB". At least not in public.

We will see who his guy is when the games are played. Does he run more then pass? Is it a ball control offense or a chuck N duck offense? The Bears best shot at winning THIS year is to build up Cutler and hope for the best. If Jay gives up on the system then the season is ovah.

I think the Bears will exceed expectations this year. Sure Jay is Jay, but this is the best coaching staff the Bears have had in a long long time & coaching matters.

Its when and how those 12 INTS come.

Jay throws High, everyone knows it. Are these going to be overthrows? if so, Coaches take some blame. You know the issue , but yet you allow it to happen.

The throw across the body back into traffic...all Jay.

The bounce off the players hands....the WR takes that one.

You can't coach this dude. He's uncoachable.
