Well, lets go the other way with this.

I think U2's performance in Superbowl 36 was one of the best live performances of the past 25 years on TV by any band. Add the fact they did the cool graphic where they scrolled the name of every person killed in the 9/11 tragedy, and you had a pretty heartfelt performance.

This one, I don't even remember if it was truly "good" or not, but when Michael Jackson did the Superbowl I was impressed.

The anticipation of Michael Jackson kind of made it cool. There were a bunch of fake Jacko's around the stage before the real one popped out of center stage.

Then Jacko stood still for about a minute while his face melted before America. He then began to perform and grab his crotch about a dozen times.

Yea, I remember the fake ones aroudn the stadium. What Superbowl was that?

Wanna say that was Super Bowl 25. Giants v Bills in Tampa Bay.
