running that compilation tape today of all of his "ahs", "You know" and "football is football" responses to reporter questions.

How did we get one of these guys again as H.C.? I think the Bears are the dumbest organization that since Ditka it has not turned to any former players or coaches with ties to the Bears and hired them as H.C. Only Bears people seem to know how to fix the team, yet the McCaskeys turn to outsiders like Jauron, Wannsted, Lovie and now Fox. No former Bears are good enough to be a head coach? I can't believe that. You don't hire Harbaugh when he went to the NFC championship game twice? Wasn't there any former Bear that could have been G.M.? Where's the loyalty?

also, aside from shining the scoreheadsignal here, i wanna reiterate that during the week i caught a little bit of a mid-day live sportscenter (where they have some time to kill) and they reported that during the week jimbo was nearly late for a michigan practice because on his drive over to the practice facility he saw that there was a light out at an intersection and a traffic cop was out there directing traffic....

...so of course jim pulled over to watch that traffic cop for about a half hour because he "loves watching people perform at the highest level" >> http://www.ninersnation.com/2013/6/5/43 ... -direction (oh wait, i guess it's an older story from as early as 2013? well the point still stands, aged or otherwise)

yeah, THAT'S the guy who you want to come in and save the bears from themselves! good luck with that. i know he's world-renown for saving the stanford program where he joined after a 1-11 season and left after they were 12-1, but didn't that magical 12-1 year coincide with the andrew luck experience going off to the point where he was projected to be the #1 pick in the 2011 draft* but then he stayed in school for the 2011 season?

* coincidentally, 2011 was also the year that mr. commitment Himself bolted for the 49ers, right? ah well at least he got them a few rings before fled to michigan to avoid another rebuilding project, which is his specialty, of course, unless you're looking to rebuild/reload HIS program/team, cuz then it's *WHOOSH SOUND* out the door to the next hapless/half-wit/sad-sack team/program to begin the Legend anew....

Of all the former Bears, Harbaugh has had the most success as coach, so I gave him as an example. But it doesn't have to be him.

My guy is Jim Miller. If you make Ventura manager of the White Sox, you can make Jim Miller coach of the Bears. He knows what the hell is going on out there (to use a Buffone expression), he's likable and a good communicator. Most people, I think, liked him as a player. He had a couple good seasons with the Bears back in the day.

Our GM pick was a disaster. What ever happened to the Tobins? When Vince Tobin was running the show, the Bears had some of their best drafts. Even Singletary drafted well for the 49ers. Harbaugh inherited Singletary's team. Our rival---the 49ers---are smarter about hiring former Bears than we are.

One more thing. While Bernstein says a lot of dumb things, his point about Fox & Co. not knowing where to put arguably the Bears best player is Kyle Long is valid. Put him at left or right tackle and get a replacement for him at guard. That completely makes sense.

If Fox is bewildered by what to do about Long, then he is bewildered about what to do at every position. Such a coaching staff does not exactly inspire confidence.

Other than this, literally every word you've posted in this thread is mind-bogglingly stupid.
