walking in the Evergreen Park parade yesterday. I don't agree with a lot of his views, but its still cool to say hello and shake the hand of such a high ranking politician.

My fiancee's little cousin took a picture with him. He was wearing a shirt that said "King of Cool." Perfect for a photo op with the Governor

I've always liked him from back in the day when he was on Eddie Schwartz's show. And I loved him when he did the cinnamon challenge with Brandmeier a couple of years ago. Agree that political feelings aside, it is nice to have a Governor that won't end up in jail on corruption.

I just saw him about an hour ago in the Arlington Heights Parade. He didn't have a sign (that I saw) just walking very briskly with a few other people. I yelled "Hi,Governor" and he turned and waved otherwise nobody would have noticed him in his red golf shirt. He looks to be in pretty good shape, comes off a little heftier on TV. Later,Bill Brady was with his wife walking with a "Brady for Governor" sign. He was waving at everybody. Didn't he lose to Quinn once already?

He's an attention whore. All the parades and funerals aren't doing anything for the budget crisis.
