Sorry board been MIA for a loooong time. nobody missed me i know. I didnt know which thread to make my return so I decided to share this story.
My girlfriend and I were in Key West last April (09) and were sitting at a small, off the strip, locals bar and a guy sat down next to me and introduced himself. he ordered a beer and we shot the shit a bit and when he walked away, being the non nascar fan I am, asked the bartender if he knew if that was JR. or not. He said why the hell would he be here. Long story short we took shots and drank beers with him all night. He cannot handle any strong shots. He made us take some fruity concoctions from the bartender. He had a small entourage with him including TJ Majors? dont ask me, and his crew cheif at the time Tony Eury. Anyways, awesome guy and I have been rooting for him ever since.

Many here will say the board was much better when you joined. Not so much because of you, but because it was around 2 1/2 years ago. I've heard Jr is a cool guy and doesn't act too cool for the room.

i have to ask how you didn't know if it was him or not, but you knew his crew? I might be jumping to conclusions here but if you know the guys crew chief, I would think you know the guy. I know who Dale Jr is and I don't watch racing.

i didnt know who his crew was until i got home. he introduced them by first name and i had no clue until i got home and looked them up. he introduced them as tony jr. and t.j. i was pretty sure it was him at first because the first things we spoke of was our hometowns and he said charlotte and i knew he was from that vicinty. i just couldn't believe it and needed confirmation. i have a picture to prove it cuz i knew there would be haters that didnt believe me.
