Yeah you can push button 48 about 5 times here, but I am posting this as I deleted the DB nomination on Bono.

While I didn't agree with the DB nomination based on his work promoting the fight against AIDS, I had to delete the thread as I dumped the Mult and thus the rest of the posts didnt make sense after that.

The Brush with Fame, was that I met him while he was working on the AIDS bill in Illinois. The GF at the time, wrote the bill him.

OK, he is weird, creepy, self indulgent and has the image that if he backs something or lends his name, whatever it is will be a success, but he will lend his name if he checks it out and finds out it is a really effort.

And to be honest, I had zero interest in meeting him and the food sucked!

Wow, Lost Soul had a good run. Not that memorable, but he managed to lay low enough and stick for awhile. Darko mult?

Bono doesn't really bother me that much. I'm sure he's a good guy, but another in the "inflated ego" category like Billy Corgan.

Bf was deleting mults, one had started a thread on Bono being a douche. After the mult was deleted the thread made no sense so he deleted the thread, which was fine because bf didn't agree with the premise.

Bigfan had a girlfriend that wrote the AIDS bill. There was some sort of dinner for it and Bono was there. Bono will let organizations/causes use his name if they are legit. He thinks his name will make it a success because he has a large ego. Kind of Midas touchy. bf found him weird creepy and self indulgent. He wasn't impressed and the food wasn't very good.
