Literal brush at the corner of State and Lake. The Man of the Yucatan was dressed for a cool evening grilling redfin tuna at the beach on a cool moon lit beach, and some real goofy ear warmers.
He's kinda short.

Redfin is a real estate app...not a tuna

Was Lanie there to show you an even easier way to cross the street that's super-fun?

We saw him at Taxim one night, dining with a group of people. Think he was in one of the Brgrbelly's one night I wasn't there. The kids that work with us have different frames of reference for people than I do. ("That chef guy who does Mexican food from TV was here." "From PBS?" "I don't know." "Was he white or Latino?" "White." "Did he say 'Holy Stromboli?'" "No, I don't think so.") One of them sent me a picture of so-and-so "from 'American Pie'" eating there. It turns out it was the kid who played Henry Rownegarner from "Rookie of the Year"

This was a literal brush. I didn't want to go all fan boy and turnaround and point, but as best I could tell it wasn't Lanie. Too old. May have been a wife. Is he still married? There were some unsettling Mexico one plate episodes when he was snorkeling...revealing a little more than his cooking tips. Seemed an odd thing to do for a married man, but who am I to judge.

His wife almost looks too old to be his mother. Did he have a brown handkerchief protruding from the right rear pocket of his trousers?
