Many, many years ago back at the old Chicago Stadium. It was around Christmas time and the Black Hawks were playing Toronto. Back then I was a hockey autograph hound and we waited after the games for some signatures. Next thing you know John Candy walks out of Gate 3 1/2. Very friendly and he signed for everybody. He got into his limo and in there already was Ally Sheedy (I believe this was around the time they filmed their movie together). Man I miss that guy. |

He was filming "Only The Lonely" in Wrigleyville & suddenly he walks into Murphy's but nobody recognized him since he was so Fucking Huge. But my fiance was still sober & started talking to him & then he stayed with us for about 15 minutes. Damn nice guy. Damn I miss him. Some drunk kept yelling "Uncle Buck" but he took it all in stride. |
