Sat at a table over from us at Red Arrow in downtown Elmhurst. i didn't realize it was him until the "beer ambassador" (their word, not mine) came over to us all excited saying, "do you know who that guy was?" he asked if we were blackhawks fans before saying it was mcdonough. seemed a pleasant enough guy, and allowed the kid about 5 minutes of gushing all over him. didn't seem like a bigshot. he was with some family. no fanfare surrounding him. |

thing is, he really isn't a big shot but at least he knows it unlike many people out there who think a public job is some kind of life validation I've heard and seen nothing but nice things about Mc Donough. |
