The Friday Mets/Cubs game, the Mets brought a number of Sponsors to the game as a thank you, got them most of section 38 (RF line on the wall).

I was talking to a Mets guy and a bunch of older guys in Mets great came to sit down and one guy looked exactly like a slighltly healthier Pat Summerall! Even sounded like him and I was corrected by the NY guy telling me that was a local NY car Dealer, but he introduced me to jerry Koosman.

While I was aware he had fame with the Mets , I never saw any games in 1969, but I did remember him in 1983 with the Sox and he was the 5th starter on what I thought was a GREAT staff. Hoyt, Burns, Bannister, '280Z' Dotson and Koosman. The NYers got insulted that it is all I remembered.

I thought Cubs fans remembered everything about the 69 Mets.

Remembering Koosman for what he did on the Sox is like remembering Kurt Vonnegut for what he did in Back to School.

Flunck me? Flunck YOU?

Not old enough for 69 Cub Love, and I don't read that much so the "Back to School" reference is what made Kurt famous . lol

However, I have never posted this and outside of my group of buddies, we don't promote the idea, but it might be time.

Ronnie has to go, he is pure bad luck.

yeah I said it!

Ooohhhh nnooooo

I'm starting to think that Kerry Wood is like Memo in The Natural.
