When I was a senior in high school, I was doing general work for the rosemont theater. One night was a Johnny Mathis concert and I happened to be going to the hawks game that night, so I was wearing my jersey. I walked through the green room and he spots me and says "That shirt really looks good on you". Knowing little of who johnny mathis is, I said thanks. Later I relayed the story to my boss and he says "Hoffman, you know that johnny mathis is gay and was probably hitting on you". Doh.

Connect to what? You can clearly see that my beard connects to my the back of my hairline underneath my ear. The "helmet + chinstrap" if you will.

Fortunately, I'm far cleaner cut these days, if everyone will recall a previous member snapshot of mine wherein I debated getting a haircut. The beard was only for hockey playoffs.
