I was in an elevator of a parking garage last night. The dude that walked in with me noticed I wasn't wearing a coat and said, "It's still a little too cold not to be wearing a coat". I said, "Yeah, you're probably right." Then he said, "It'll be nice this weekend. I'm going to the Cubs game on Sunday. I'll be in the booth. I do voice overs for those Bud Light Real Men of Genius commercials." I said "no shit?" And he went into the whole "Bud Light presents REAL MEN OF GENIUS doing the voice and everything." I called my wife to tell her and it made her day (she loves those commercials). Then I found $20.

If it were really him, then he's former Chicago DJ Pete Stacker. But I doubt it, I find it hard to believe that he walks around plugging himself. And why would he be in the booth?

It was him. They just played a clip of him in the booth on MJH. Don't ever doubt me again.

If you listen carefully, he's (Pete Stacker) the voice on seemingly just about everything (Comedy Central and Firestone just to name a couple).

He's a top, national voice-over talent.

I think you skipped the middle of your story where you were so overcome with excitement at meeting Pete Stacker that you offered to blow him for $20.

I hope you didn't snap his picture without asking. Some guys get REALLY pissed off at that.

I saw that, my friend. I liked Watermelon better.

For what it's worth, you brought humor to the board - that's why a lot of people come here.

I once took a long elevator ride with Larry Craig; as I got off, KS got on.

I prefer "the other guy" in those ads - the singer from Survivor - I met him in an elevator once and he said HE was the guy from those ads.

Well I met Jimi Jamison from Survivor. He said he's the guy from the Bud Lite commercials, or should've been.[/i]
