The lead singer of Phish was at the Cornmeal show at the Taste of Randolph Street on Saturday. My buddy Justin went up to him and was like "Hey, you're Trey!!!!" He said "Yeah, whats goin on" Justin just said "Damn... not shit, we listened to you on the way over here... damn dude you rock!" Trey just laughed and say thank you, and proceeded to watch the show, a few feet from us the whole time. Surprisingly to us, not too many people went up and said whats up to him. So yeah, thats the one and only Brush with Fame I can contribute here, and it wasnt even necessarily a celebrity and I didnt even talk to him one on one. |

Same here, I love all his stuff up to and including Bar 17 and Shine. He's on my short list of favorite musicians ever. It was cool just to shake his hand. I also thought it was cool that he seemed to be trying hard not to seek attention and we were kinda quiet about approaching him too. He was just there for some good music and good times, same as all of us. Hopefully he quits the prescriptions. |

True, but I heard he was more on the scrips in the last 5-7 years then the H. Either way, he's too talented and revered to throw it all down the drain the same way Jerry did. |
