In an elevator at the Union League Club after Chicago's failed bid was announced. It's hard to pick him out from all the other bald, aging Irish guys at the Club, but he was carrying around his writing materials. I said nothing to him, as I was in a conversation with someone else.

He told me he was shocked to be in an elevator with an aquatic mammal.

GD, surprised, Hanley one of the good guys, who is slightly letting his angry guy come out, maybe even a quick, "Hey, I listen to the show, just wanted to say hey and tell you Big Fan says hello" lol

Feel free to use my bag identity at anytime

A few years ago I was invited to join someone for lunch at the ULC. I was off work that day and showed up in jeans, gym shoes, and a t-shirt. Let's just say... the lunch venue had to change. Snobs!

The only time I have ever felt any dizzyness or anything weird after riding in an elevator happened at the Union League Club about three or four years ago. I remember getting off the elevator and walking into the library, and thinking something was weird about the room -- until I walked out and realized that it was me and that everything was spinning. It was actually pretty cool.

A true story, but partially motivated to share for the sole purpose that I feel the need to come across as important and brag that I was at Union League Club... albeit, only that one time.
