Had the lucky pleasure of sitting one row behind the Yankee clipper at the 1969 college football allstar game at Soldier Field. Jets v. All Stars. Different world then, Joe was signing autographs the whole game without requesting $. Was a true gentlemen to everyone. |

As I have met the real JALEN FROM ROSEMONT and I am Guessing you are NO Jalen from Rosemont, nor Dave from Winfield, nor Kenny from Rogers Park or ...damn, there was one more...Maybe an Illini Player? Way too young to be at a 1969 anything... |

Way too young to be at a 1969 anything... Marcus from Libertyville, perhaps? Doug from Collinsville, Kent from Bensenville, Johnnie from Morton Grove....I could go on for hours, I won't unless you insist. But I will finish with my all time favorite................................Chan Ho from Park Ridge!! |

I took a picture with him at the Itallian American Sports HOF on Taylor St. when he unveiled the statue. He signed an autograph for my wife's Grandmother. He still had a handshake that could crush rocks. CMS |
