He's awfully proud of passing the bar on the first shot. He mentions it as often as he can. Maybe he thinks that's a big deal since he hangs out with the Daleys so much.

He thinks it's his trademark (i.e. Bono and the sunglasses). Like he's a celebrity of some kind. I mean, he is friends with David Schwimmer, so he must be.
