Was going through the sections and saw his name....so we get in the wayback machine

In college, Kerr redshirted after his junior year with a knee injury and when he was basically better he was playing softball (1B) for our fraternity softball team. I was a freshman and he would have been a senior, but the fact is, I hit better than Kerr. (Not braggin but it was a fact)

I got sick of sitting on the bench watching him ground out and everyone would be 'It's ok Stevie, get em next time' he was not terrible, but never really played softball, so the arc was trouble for him and he grounded out alot. Yes he was a college celeb, so everyone kissed his ass. Being from Chicago and a life long 16 inch unlimited arc guy it was not an issue. Plus, defensively, I was just as good if not better as I am a tad taller than Kerr.

Halfway through the season, the manager (just one of our friends) benched Kerr, he got pissed and quit. OK, we don't know if he got pissed, didn't care or what, but he did leave the team.

I look at it this way. If I don't take over for him, he could have got into a serious collision at first, seriousely reinjured his knee and never play again!

yes, in college they did the STEEVVVVEEEKERRRRRRR when he made a three.

BF you are the Ed Farmer of the board.

When you know a lot of famous people, you have to share the stories. That’s what you do.

Yeah but Big Fan never claims to be "good friends" with any of these celebs. With Farmer every celebrity is his best friends. Through the years he's claimed to have thousands of "best friends"--all celebrities ironically.

Exactly, it is a BRUSH with fame, not a GOOD FRIEND with Fame. Like Farmio.

Would Kerr remember me? Probably after 15-20 minutes of recapping the story and the guys he was friends with.

And yes, I am taking credit for saving him from a life long injury.

Like I said, one day if Good Dolphin can rezone a shitty R3 lot on the 400o + Block of North elston to a B4-2, the ChicagoSportsLounge will be built and you can all come and see the...

-Huffy Backboard with the Facsimile MJ Signature and his real signature next to it.
-The Towel Horace Grant was twirling on the floor after 2nd Bulls Championship.
-3 Cubs Stadium Wooden seats (Bought them in 1989 for $15, told my friends we should by more and store them)
-2 Old Bulls floor chairs...

OK, this has spurned a whole new section...look for it!

Close.

The theory is what's the point of owning the shit if it sits in storage, like my stuff.

B4-2, !

That would take a miracle as the district no longer exists. Where should I send the bill for this work?

I like your idea of an actual Chicago HOF. Not a BS outfit that nobody has ever heard of before North got enshrined, but an actual legit museum-like place with dark wood, leather, brass, bronze busts, high-def blueray resolution 26 inch screens with highlights, and a nice steakhouse on premises somewhere between the 1200s on north and south and say 400 on the west.

The problem with a chicago hall of fame is that they would need a space the size of Canton, OH to properly pay homage to DA COACH.
