My brushes with, I PREDICT, the next Cub manager after Piniella walks in a couple of years, go way back.

I first spotted the bald-headed teenager when he was a guard on the Prospect basketball team. Decent shot, good playmaker, tenacious defender. This was around 1974 when most teens had longish hair and no one shaved their heads. (He lost his hair from a childhood affliction). Needless to say, he was the object of much fan derision which will serve him well once he assumes the reins in Wrigley.

Did people call him a cancer patient on the court?

No, that would be insensitive. They called him a cancer to his team and the league.

The only way Frank would find this is if...he is Not in the Biz.

A7X's health club thread reminded me of the Todd Sauebraun racquetball story. I couldn't remember exactly where it was posted, I thought maybe here. So thats how I found it.

iirc, Tall Midget or Coach Crapowksi spun that glorious yarn.
