So my son and I were in St. Louis on Thursday for the match at Busch Stadium between Manchester City and Chelsea. As we had time to kill, we went up in the Arch on Thursday morning. As we are exiting the south entrance of the Arch, who do we see but the entire Chelsea team just walking around a pathway around the grounds. I thought to myself, "well, this is rather fortuitous."

My son is nine (9) years old, loves soccer, and was wearing his Chelsea jersey, so he nearly fainted from excitement. Eventually, we just started kind of walking along with the team, and he ended up getting the nerve to ask a few players for a picture. We now have pictures of him with:

Oscar
David Luiz
Petr Cech
Juan Mata
Fernando Torres

It was an unbelievable stroke of luck, for which I thank Allah.

Isn't soccer that game that resembles hockey without skates?

Don't we have a spring and summer sport for boys that was created in the good ole US of A?

I, too, was in St. Louis this weekend. The brain drain from Chicago was measurable.
