They secluded us at our own table in the back of the room like Jug Dish and Lonnie at the rush party in Animal House

He released me from jury duty some years back.

A good man and a fair kicker.

1977, first Bear pride ever felt. Dont really remember much of the entire season. Not even sure I watched all the games as a tike, but remembering Bob Thomas kicking FG in OT to push the Bear into the playoff v the NYG. Icy cold game. Shed a tear that game. Dont even remember the playoffs at all that year. Assuming they lost.

When Thomas kicked that FG,it was the first time my mom ever heard me use the "F" word. I got real excited, jumping up & down. I had never seen the Bears do anything up to that point.Got killed by Dallas. Something like 37-7. I remember in the 3rd quarter the Bears got their first 1st down on a sideline catch by WR James Scott. I think the "boys were winning 23-0 at that point.Scott out of frustration slammed the ball on the ground. The friggin' Refs gave the Bears 15 yards for delay of game.

Plenty of memories of that game. The f-ing game fell on my birthday. Had on my Bears gear, a sandwich filled with Buddig meats & a big bottle of Swiss Creme pop.

And then the game started.

I still hate Dallas to this day.

I've got a friend named Franklin Jackson, do I trust him or not?
