1977, first Bear pride ever felt. Dont really remember much of the entire season. Not even sure I watched all the games as a tike, but remembering Bob Thomas kicking FG in OT to push the Bear into the playoff v the NYG. Icy cold game. Shed a tear that game. Dont even remember the playoffs at all that year. Assuming they lost. |

I had never seen the Bears do anything up to that point.Got killed by Dallas. Something like 37-7. I remember in the 3rd quarter the Bears got their first 1st down on a sideline catch by WR James Scott. I think the "boys were winning 23-0 at that point.Scott out of frustration slammed the ball on the ground. The friggin' Refs gave the Bears 15 yards for delay of game. |

Had on my Bears gear, a sandwich filled with Buddig meats & a big bottle of Swiss Creme pop. And then the game started. I still hate Dallas to this day. |
