Post subject:  Dan Pasqua

Went to a Little League coaches' clinic like two weekends ago, and Dan Pasqua was one of the clinicians. He's one of those guys who looks like a fierce MFer, the proverbial guy you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley, but is very nice. Almost gentle. However, you can just see when the guy grips a bat he means business, even for demonstration purposes. It's just different... like playoff hockey.

back in the day I heard from my sources that the pot was really for Kirk McCaskill, but Pasqua took the fall for it. not sure of the details.

I liked him as a ballplayer. Not bad if you platooned him.

I remember as a kid that he hit a home run that was headed towards his feet had he not swung. Golf-clubbed it out.

I was practicing at the park with the boys and needed some extra baseballs. I saw one laying around signed by Dan Pasqua and decided it was as good as any to use for BP

I gave a Homer Bailey ball the same treatment.....then the punk goes out and throws 2 no hitters.
