I saw Shawn Marion at the Home Depot on North Ave a few summers back. Got out of a really nice silver Mercedes. I also ran into Sylvester Stallone down in Cancun at Ruth's Chris steakhouse in '96. my life sucks, what can I say. |

I was hoping this was going to be about seeing them two together at the same time...oh well...cool nonetheless. |

The Marion thing was not that interesting. I noticed his car on the way in and thought it was beautiful. By chance we were going in right as he was. It was odd because he looked back like he felt I was going to say something. The Stallone incident was much better. He was just having dinner with a group of people and his wife(beautiful). I went out for a smoke on the landing and they were leaving. I shook his hand and he stopped voluntarily to talk. I told him about my buddy growing up who was a JR golden gloves boxer and a huge Rocky fan. He took a wrong turn in life in his teen years and was shot in the back after having words with a crack dealer somewhere in the city. They couldn't even shoot him face to face. They had to wait until he was walking away. Shotgun, closed casket. |

goodkat, FB is just suggesting that a Ruth's Chris in Cancun (which I've been at btw...) and your buddy getting shot by crack dealers, are on opposite ends of the "life experience spectrum".....and that there is likely a great deal of stuff in between.....that's all. |

Thank you for converting my missed lay up EPD. My point exactly. Just one of those " " posts that come along every now and then. |

Actually, I expected this would be the line to get flagged: Quote: I shook his hand and he stopped voluntarily to talk.
Really? You didn't casually open your jacket halfway, reveal a piece, and force him to take a few photos with you? |
