...oh, he was with Coghlan at Starbucks this morning. I actually recognized Borzello (Catchers Coach) which made me recognize Coghlan. I did ask "Wha Happen?".....Borzello said, combo of them not executing, some great defense and masteful veteran pitching. Which I agreed with. Hamels started off most batters with Changeups for strikes, thats when you know you are winning the mental battle....and it allowed him to crank up to 96 in the 9th....

I remember listening to Koufax throw a perfect game against the Cubs. I took pride in the fact that the Cubs have gone 50 seasons without a no-hitter thrown against them. The legendary Jimmy Qualls broke up Tom Seaver's perfecto in the 9th inning back in the '60's.

This Cub team sucks. I'm not surprised they got no-hit. There might be a few more coming up. The Cubs need a few more bats to be respectable. I bet they can get Francoeur from the Phils real cheap.

there was some hard hit balls yesterday that didnt find holes, so while Hamels was great, there was some knocks....

Note: Not one of those is from Castro! Leading the leage in weak ass grounders....I actually think that stat exists! (Not called Weak Ass though).

Sounds like a promising new segment for the Snickers & Giggles Show...

Jason Goff presents; "Weak ass grounders hit by grown ass men!"

Starlins first ground out to 3B, was about as weak of a grounder I have ever seen. It was like a bunt, but I have seen bunts that got to 3B faster!
