Did. Not. Happen.

Jessie loves North and owes his career to him.

Some might say you that backwards.

Jessie is far from being smart, but he worked his ass off to make that show of North and Jiggs.

Also. 2 guys that probably still feel the webio sting.

Believe it was Ofman's birthday a couple of days ago. Did they bring him a slice of cheesecake with a candle in it?

I could see Ofman saying that and Rogers probably laughing it off, but I can't see Rogers flat out calling him one....not in public, anyway.

This.

And I'm sure Jesse picked up the tab.

I'm gonna say neither of those guys has knocked down the same salary he had at the Score (let alone what they got for a month of the Webio) any time since. And they probably never will. Certainly Shorty George won't. He had been there 20 years and had to be making around $100,000 as the main update guy. He's not getting that again. Of course he hates North. He probably hates himself for believing a hot dog vendor and his snake oil selling pal were going to revolutionize radio.

As I recall, the Webio exodus coincided with across-the-board cuts at CBS Radio, so if JAWWWWGE didn't get out on his own, corporate probably would have fired him for making six figures to fuck up copy on a daily basis. I believe I remember some talk here that Mitch was actually relieved that all these guys left before they had to be fired.

George's highest salary was in the $80K range.

Jessie has made more since he left the Score. George is not even a CBS employee currently.

The CBS local WBBM website shows George as part of the sports team.

He must be a subcontractor through Shadow Traffic, which I guess enables CBS to save money somehow. They're running WBBM like a business!

They were doing this long before Rod was in charge.

I think cheesecakes are the best to give for birthdays. Cheesecakes are delicious, rich, crisp and have three layers. They can be prepared in many flavors, such as strawberry, pumpkin, key lime or toffee. You can get more details about various cheesecakes and desserts over here.

I think cheesecake is kind of an FU as a birthday cake. It's not really a cake at all

Cheesecake may not be a true cake, but it sure as hell is better than cake.
I'll take cheesecake on my birthday every year, please.

Warm whipped german cheesecake on the graham cracker crust served on Sundays at Gibsons and Hugos, one of the best products ON EARTH!!! Due to the whipped feature it is not dense at all....one of the very few things I have never seen elsewhere...and I know they dont make it, they buy all their cakes, pies from another provider,
