It seemed only convenient that ESPN producers would edit out the word in question and that Stephen A. Smith won't be suspended. However, do we have a double standard? ESPNEWS anchor Max Bretos was suspended 30 days earlier this winter when using "chink in the armor" to describe then Knicks' PG Jeremy Lin during one of his anchor shifts at ESPN's 24/7 sports news channel. Bretos' wife happens to be Asian American.

It's amazing how arrogant "journalists" and "analysts" on ESPN get after working there for a while. SAS, Salisbury, Marrioti, Bayless, Schlereth, Dilfer... all are just overbearing pricks.

They are overbearing and full of themselves. The same goes for Mike Lupica on ESPN's "Sports Reporters" Sunday mornings.

I wonder if Tom Jackson can bear going to work this weekend. Since you know, racial insults are things he can't handle well. (See: Limbaugh, Rush and the desperate need for the media to hype a black quarterback.)

Chris Berman has been at ESPN since Jimmy Carter was in the White House. In plain English, Berman's been there since Day 1 of ESPN in 1979. He's beyond annoying now!

If I hear Berman use the term "Norris Division" when describing NFC North matchups involving the Bears, Vikings, Packers & Lions, let alone "Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!" like he did over last weekend in his "2 Minute Drill" on "SportsCenter", guys, I'm gonna scream!
