I'm a little pissed that Chas hasn't used his pull to get us a good deal on seats for the CSFMB Bulls Games. Had I have known that we had the number 4 in seniority in the United Center concession stand operation, we probably could have gotten a deal on seats, a suite, or a drink package. WTF Chas?

P.S. I think I know where that Jersey fell off a truck now. Does the team shop conduct regular inventories?

The only thing she can get now is 20% off in the stores in the U.C.. They took away the discount for tickets about 3 years ago.

I have let you guys know my mother works at the United Center. She is a Stand Manager on the main Concourse. She is number 4 on the seniority list,that is how long she has been there. Well this year is her 72nd birthday. The Hawks are playing the day before. I asked if they could have Patrick come down before the game and just wish her a happy birthday,that is all not that big a deal. You would think they would with all the negative energy surrounding the NHL right now. I wrote a really nice letter about how big a fan she is and how she learned the game not only because she likes it but to better interact with her customers. Got a call Monday from the front office saying that it could not be done and all that they where going to do was send her an Autographed picture.
To be fair,they sent a nice one. Framed with a personalized message and a certificate of authenticity.
After a lock out that basically ruined the season. After costing any goodwill they had with fans. After both players and Team officials at every opportunity claimed they where sorry they where hurting people like my mother in the pocket book,this was the best you could do? Yeah nice gesture and to top it off they raised ticket prices.

I think the real question is if Chas hand wrote the letter, or if he dictated it to someone.

I'm assuming that they thought they were either getting a letter from a 2nd grader or
some sort of ransom note if he in fact hand wrote it.

I seriously don't see the issue. This would've taken all of 5 minutes. Either bring her to Kane or have Kane go to her. Either way they're in the same building. You can get this done before the fans are allowed in.

I think they still did a pretty nice thing, but between the sincere heartfelt and eloquent letter chas penned, and the fact that chas's mom and Kane a like a few hundred feet from one another, you'd think this would've been a no brainer.
