I go to my TwineSpires account to make a few wagers.... I see all the tracks say NW (Non Wagering)   They made ADW illegal (Advanced Deposit Wagering) which provided 1.72 million to the Illinois Racing Boards Budget ..roughly 28% .Governor Quinn you are starting to make Blago look good

I was being sincere. I agree with the nomination.

I see nothing wrong with the State of Illinois telling Walt they don't want him to lose his money.

I just saw this thread; I posted in Wagering earlier my bafflement about all this. The state is crying for new revenue streams. Why not keep the ones you already have?

Best part is that the house is out until the 30th and the Senate until Feb 5th.

The bill to extend was caught in committee and didn't get enough votes to clear.

My fear is that they try to wrap this in some other extended gambling law (slots at the track or something along those lines) and then this thing gets delayed past the Derby. I might not mind if they added in sports wagering though. :)
