They collectively prove they are jerkoffs every season with their Judge Smails aqua sport coats and their champagne toasting. Once again several prove the overly high esteem in which they hold themselves by not going to the White House.

It's a ceremonial event. During official ceremonial events the president is representing the country in recognizing you not some political ideology. No one is mistaking your presence for a political endorsement. Getting to the deeper point of the douchbaggery, who do you think would care even if it were mistaken for a political endorsement? Do you somehow think the president gets some bump in ratings by having a team 40 years past its accomplishments in for a couple of pictures? He is doing you the favor, not the other way around.

You get called by the president of the US, you answer the call. Anything less is an insult to the people of the US, not the president.

...this does not even get to the backrounds of these guys that would make them feel so ethically superior...fucking roided up raging bull Manny Fernandez with his body loaded up with illegal substances as a young good dolphin sits in front of a tv watching wrestling and asking "who is that guy"

and now Shula has to reference his team's freak victory against the Bears in 1985. That was as much a case of several lucky occurrences all happening in the same game at home and on a Monday night.

Where do these chumps even rate in the history of great teams?

Yes, but sometimes there is something to be said for one citizen being a jerkass to another citizen. We're not being summoned to the royal palace here.

It's a completely different Manny Fernandez.

Nowhere near the top.

If making the argument that Kerry Wood 20k is better than a perfect game is dumb, shouldn't the same be said for saying an undefeated NFL team is not the best ever? I mean it is perfection.

Anyone who actually thinks that the 1972 Dolphins are the best team of all time would be flat out wrong. They're not even in the team photo.

Very good defense and an above average (barely) offense. I was rooting for George Allens 'Skins in that Super Bowl. BTW,who knocked the undefeated Pats off a few years back in the SB? I can't remember,I think it was the Giants.

Is that so...thanks for the edumacation. You probably saved me some embarrassment by jumping into a conversation with some young punks and laying down some incorrect knowledge.
