Is this really some type of epidemic that they are considered Public Service Announcements?

people buying guns for others that have records? while I dont doubt it happens, but is it at some extreme high level that we need to be warned about it multiple times daily by some lady that sounds like she had a racoon for dinner last night!

As I have never purchased a fire arm, is there actually a question of "ARE YOU BUYING THIS FOR SOMEONE ELSE?"

If you happen to be an ex con, or gang banger that needs a gun, are you really asking someone else to go buy one for you at a store? Have a feeling if you live that life, you can get one pretty easy.

Well, not only that, but are such ads really likely to dissuade someone who would by a gun for a convicted felon? "Oh shit, I was going to by that handgun for uncle Stabby, but that commercial really has a point!"

This is the key point. I would bet that the effectiveness of this ad is hovering at or around zero percent.
