Ladies and Gentlemen and SomeGuy, it's Sunday, and it's time to vote for some Douchebags.
Last week's winner was the entitled, obnoxious, annoying Marlins owner Jeffery Loria for firing a manager and hiring as his replacement someone who has not coached in 30 years, and never above high school level. This turd will be entered into the Douchebag of the Quarter semifinal in a short 12 weeks, where he will compete against one of these nominees for a shot at the Final at the end of the year. I'm excited. I have a boner.
Now, onto this week's top nominees!
Dennis Hastert: The former speaker of the house was nominated by DannyB for allegedly taking illegal withdrawals from his campaign fund to make payoffs... hush money... apparently for a sexual complaint, seemingly involving a child, possibly a male one, which is creepy as fuck. So illegal withdrawal after an illegal deposit. So to speak. Does this make him a douchebag or just a regular member of our United States Legislature? Your call, CSFMB.
Jerry Reinsdorf: Jerry was nominated by good dolphin because he was inclined to fire Thibbs but disinclined to fire considerably more inept manager Robin Ventura. Jerry is being cast as a drama queen who demands conformity from the community he runs. This being completely foreign to the board, we have decided that he must be included in this week's poll. Does Jerry's handling of the team's in game management make him a douchebag? You gotta vote!
Jon Ritzheimer: This weird fuck was nominated by Bigfan for organizing an anti-islam rally that will feature a Mohammed drawing contest. These drawing contests always seem to end well, so his warning of a "much anticipated attack" is probably just something intended to drum up attendance. Hey... maybe the Sox could do something like this to get more butts in the seats! Can't be worse than the usual much anticipated attacks we see at and around the Cell, yeah?
City of Chicago, CPD, Rahm: These hapless victims were nominated by Scorehead in response to the wave of violence that passed thru the city last weekend. We here at the Douchebag of the Week Home Office aren't exactly sure what Rahm was supposed to do about this... maybe don a vest and a shogun and patrol the streets himself or something, but Scorehead might be on to something because that is a lot of lead flying around the city. Are the CPD and Rahm victims or are they involved in the shennagans? Your call, gang.
WTMJ - Milwaukee: Bigfan was having a man weekend in Lake Geneva and he was trying to watch a Hawks playoff game. The local station showed the first 3 periods but halfway into OT they blacked it out. Bigfan may have also been blacked out after 3 periods in a bar and bringing back 8 guys to "watch the stream" in his room. We know how the game turned out, we don't want to know how the room situation turned out. But anyway... is WTMJ a douchebag for blacking out to game? Your call, dude.
