My son has a Pepe shirt. I guess we need to burn that.

He's going to be bummed.

He is a white-supremacist, though.

What is it that is supposedly offensive about the Harambe meme?

Is there any offset if the shirt is black?

you think that is fucked up. Check this shit out!

Quote:
The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey announced on Monday that it has been retained by Ahmad Khan Rahami’s father and his wife to defend him until he is appointed a public defender.

In America, everyone has a right to counsel. That's why the ACLUNJ is defending Ahmad Khan Rahami's rights. https://t.co/waeRKZa0Hd pic.twitter.com/FBqIrs63EK
— ACLU of New Jersey (@ACLUNJ) September 26, 2016

Rahami, 28, stands accused of planting bombs in both New York and New Jersey earlier in the month, and has been in a hospital in Newark since being shot seven times in a shootout with police last Monday.

Why is it fucked up for this guy to have a lawyer? Why do you hate our Constitution?

I too want the Board's version of William Jennings Bryan to explain that one as well, w/o swallowing his tongue if possible.

the ACLU is defending a terrorist? Somone who wants to rip the country apart. You don't find that a stretch for them?

He is an alleged terrorist. He is innocent until proven guilty. They are defending him until a public defender can be assigned. Did you even read that article, or did you just see the headline and freak out?

I'm sorry that you think our Constitution and due process are "fucked up".

I read the article. I see it is until a PD can be assigned. I may not be in total agreement 100% of the time with what the ACLU does,it does a necessary function. The other times they got involved in terrorist cases I can agree with but not this man. If you really want to be a stickler for the Constitution he violated Article III Section 3. They really need to when they start catching these guys doing overt stuff as a citizen doing that.

Well, then it is a good thing that you are not in charge. You don't get to decide who gets due process in this country. The fact that you think this way, is what's really fucked up here.

Next, a discussion of Free Speech and Constitutional implications for private actors by Prof. Emeritus Chas. Should be riveting.
