Patti Blagojevich is "disappointed" husband and ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich didn't make President Barack Obama's list of 300-plus federal inmates whose sentences were cut short.

As the hours wind down on his presidency, Obama on Thursday commuted the sentences of 330 federal inmates convicted of drug crimes but left Blagojevich, who is serving a 14-year federal sentence for public corruption, off the list.

"Not on the list of 330 that was released today," Patti Blagojevich wrote on her Facebook page later in the day. "Don't know if he is done yet. I'm so disappointed for Rod, and this is so hard on my girls. Even though I try to tell them not to get their hopes up, it is still crushing."

The ex-governor was convicted of, among other things, attempting to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Obama after his 2008 election as president.

Blagojevich's next, best chance of a pardon or commutation comes from incoming president Donald Trump, who famously fired the governor in spring 2010 in the third installment of "Celebrity Apprentice."

This is really an idiotic nomination. Why shouldn't she be upset? Blago did very little wrong, definitely not enough to warrant the harsh sentence he received.

It's a joke that he wasn't pardoned.

I thought we lived in a country where the punishment should meet the crime? This one doesn't even come close.

Chas, what if Blago hadn't attempted to sell his Senate seat, but threatened to rape somebody's entire family? What would an appropriate sentence be for that, if he acted like a dick during the proceedings?

Didn't he try to argue that there was perhaps-exculpatory context to the conversations in the tapes that the FBI made of him, but the judge wouldn't let his defense team play all of the recordings, allowing the jury to just hear the bits that incriminated him? He should be pardoned just for that, if so, it would almost be as bad as changing hearsay laws during a trial to convict one guy.

Patti is a flighty bimbo but I don't blame her for wanting her man back, even though it's Rod.
