Cubs were embracing something that might not happen for another 108. I cant blame them for that

I thought this was going to be about them playing Dancing With The Stars on the big screen.

They have a dance party in the clubhouse after a regular season win, what do you expect they would do to celebrate a World Series title? Over the top? ......sure. But when the team has waited 108 years to celebrate one of these, it's to be expected. Quite frankly, I'm glad not to have gone last night. I was at the game on Sunday in Milwaukee, where it was a beautiful day and there was no delay in starting the game, from either ceremonies or weather issues (a retractable roof sure would have been nice last night) either. To sit in 40 degree weather with a wind chill of 35 and times where it was raining.......no thanks. In addition, I can't understand why they want to have a 2nd ceremonial night on Wednesday. Why not just hand the rings out last night? Time to turn the page and focus fully on 2017. This is a contender for another title in 2017, not some catch lightning in a bottle, one year wonder. Back to business.

In fairness to the Cubs these ceremonies always kinda suck.

But they did play the Rocky fight song "Going the Distance/Final Bell"...twice.

you're yelling at management that found a way to dedicate two years of celebration to wrigley field.

a field they deemed a piece of junk and needed extensive remodeling.

Per America, this is apparently the appropriate response to anything Sox fans post about the Cubs / Cubs fans....

"lol who cares we just won it all burrito"

Let's all just take a moment to remember the genesis of this statement.
