Nothing provides for great optics like watching your phone or tablet through a Ziploc bag. One comment suggests not tapping ("taping") too hard because you're essentially poking the person in front of you. I assume that knob is treating his dangling phone like a fucking piñata.

Then there's McGeyver turning Starbuck's cup rings into a phone stand. You can get a relatively durable one for $1.99 at Wal-Mart. Buy one McDonald's coffee instead of your Starbuck's - take your savings and buy a real stand.

And to the women on my flight (Chinese, no English so I could not communicate with them - I tried): The instant the plane starts bouncing like that - it's a good idea to get in your fucking seat. The one just froze in the aisle - next to her seat - and was looking at us like "What the hell am I supposed to do?"
