Or the pharmaceutical industry in general. Had rogue jr into urgent care today , has the flu. Doctor writes a couple Rx's , go to Walgreens to pick them up. The fucking Tamiflu is $180 and thats with my insurance picking up half. Good thing my wife picked it up because it would still be there if it were me and I would've bought a bag of ice, some oranges, ibuprofen and told the kid to toughen up, see you in a couple days when you're feeling better and still been up $150.

Not that it will help you now, but I found a 50% coupon that is accepted at walgreens for it.

Dunno. Assuming original.

You got fucked somehow, by however your doctor wrote it up....or your pharmacy for how they charged you. Did they look up your insurance correctly? At most I've paid in the 75-100 range..the product itself is great..he should be feeling well soon.

Thanks Trump!

But progressive radio has been warning about this for months. But for some dumb ass reason they say it's now all made in Asia.

Thoughts and prayers for BrogueJr and you all though.

Yup. Even with less than ideal effectiveness this is why you get a flu shot.

Sorry brogue. That seems to be off though. A word of advice. You or the pharmacist can call the prescribing physician to see if a generic or other version may be acceptable. Doctors don't know what your price will be on prescriptions so they can work with you.

Start Medicare for All by expanding it to children. Hope Junior Brogue gets well soon, I had a nasty flu a few weeks ago.

Wait ... when did oral medication become a viable means of fighting viral infection?

I gotta say that airborne stuff (orange pills) works pretty damn well if you use it early.

My kids doctor wouldn't even prescribe Tamiflu unless we specifically asked for it. He said that all its going to do is shave off a day or two at the end of the recovery. Not worth it in his opinion. He said plenty of rest and fluids and let nature take its course.

Shaving two days off flu like symptons is easily worth ~$100 IMO.

They have also temporarily stopped wine,(I mean the blood of Christ) at Mass. I never took it anyways, sorry that's just too many mouths on one cup. Nasty.
