They just need to magically come up with something way better than TJS. "Aw man my teams ace blew a UCL, now he's going to need Michael Kopech Surgery and he'll have to go on the 10 day DL!"

Or just clone RA Dickey and have a bunch of pitchers without UCL’s.

Or maybe guys can stop trying to constantly throw 95+ and max effort everything and actually learn how to "pitch" and stop tearing up ligaments and tendons and even bones that cannot keep pace with that stress and workload regardless of the "shape" and "workout regimen" that any given pitcher might possess. Seriously, no one should ever be shocked or even disappointed that this happens. Maybe disappointed at the timing, but not that it happened. Cause it's going to a lot more often than not. Unfortunately, chicks (and scouts and GM's and managers and pitching coaches et al) dig the velo.
