On a side note, many thanks and praise go out to the venerable Frank Contansa who guess hosted last week's DOTW poll during my absence. I was busy. Real busy. So Frank came in handy.

Ok, this is Week 34, and last week's big winner was DegenerateDave and Shakes, who tried to make a playdate for a fight. Dave seems like an aging pothead and Shakes seems like an aging hockey player, so it would have been.... interesting. But cooler and lamer heads prevailed and there was no fight.

And now, here are this week's nominees as chosen by me and me only using my own slanter agenda driven cirteria:

The Whole Board: Johnny Chimpo strives to keep his nomination streak alive by nominating... everyone. That's right, you're not funny enough for Johnny. I mean he didn't contribute for a whole week but it's YOUR fault that you're not doing your job CSFMB a LOT better. So is he right? Do we suck lemon?

Milton Bradley: rogers park brYan nominated Bradley for his post game commentary where is insinuates that Cubs fans should be cheering them now and writers should be offering oral sex in the clubhouse since the team was in 1st place by half a game for about 14 hours. We here at the DOTW home office really rooted for Bradley, but since his finger to the ear incident he is still too ball dropey, too not hitty batting lefty, too mouthy and too smart mouthy. Is brYan correct? Bradley is a douchebag? It's gonna take your vote Chicago!

Rick Sanchez: Rick is being nominated for tweeting that Hispanics who work for Fox are sellouts, including the fact that he would be rich if he worked for Fox and advanced their agenda. Like most of us, Sanchez has some unfavorable things in his past and Fox somehow makes this relevant to his tweet, having taken it personally and poorly. Well, do you guys agree wtih JimmyReardon's nomination? Is Rick a douche?

Twitter: Steve Stone's boner twitter. Rick Sanchez's boner twitter. Ugueth's desires for a boner twitters. What is with Twitter? Is it coincidence that you need a TWIT to spell twitter? Maybe. Maybe not. Jalapenos and More nominates twitter and bores us with his personal story whatever he needs twitter for for whatever industry he's in or something. Generally speaking who cares what these people are up? Is twitter for and by douchebags? Vote today!

Goodell: Nominated by schmitty1121 for his handling of Michael Vick's reinstatement, specifically making him basically ineligible for the first 6 weeks of the season. Schmitty seems to think that 1 or 2 games would be more appropriate. We're still not even sure that someone wants to sign the guy, but Goodell made it harder for someone to sign him THIS year given his suspension. With no guarantee it's gonna be lifted in week 6. Is the commish a douchebag?

Jody Weis and his Chicago Stormtroopers: Nominated by Darkside for changing their policy to allow officers to shoot at cars containing fleeing suspects. Darko postulates that this is exceptionally dangerous, as hitting even a stationary target with a pistol ain't as easy as Martin Riggs makes it look. On the other hand you gotta be able to stop suspects right? So, is this douchebaggery or just hardcore law enforcement (something Chicago might need)?

Roe Conn/WLS: Nominated by Deacon Blues for allowing Mike North as a substitute. Well, is North that bg of a douchebag that his mere presence makes those around him douchebags? Was North not qualified to be on WLS? On the other hand, he is of suspect character and he is liable to say something ridiculously stupid at any given time. But people want to listen to him don't they? And even if they don't is Roe Conn or WLS douchey for thinking he might be? Vote!
