Good morning CSFMB! It’s Friday and it’s time to vote for some douchebags! Last week the guy at work who harassed Lipid won. I wonder how his mushroom hunt went…
Anyhow, this week we’ve spiced it up with a nice little message board rivalry, some strong debate about the “Arizona Law”, and some various school officials. So… here are your nominees for Douchebag of the Week, Week 22!
Vice Principal at Live Oak High School: Terry’s Peeps took a day off from leaving future mail message on Boer’s answering machine to nominate this principal for “Sending home” some kids who wore American Flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo, claiming it was incendiary to wear that shirt on that particular day. There was talk of objectives, and motives, but none of that really matters when you’ve got the right to Free Speech. But since that doesn’t apply in learning institutions, I’m not so sure that the principal really is a douchebag… you’ll have to vote.
Ten Foot Midget!!!!!!!!! Since this was a rare non capitalized nomination from a normally overly caffeinated bigfan, I thought I would include it. Bigfan is pissed because Ten Foot Midget claimed credit for the nickname he had created for new Cubs desperation call up Starlin Castro (“The Dictator”). This thread also taught us that spmack would join a gay message board… if they were talking about him. So… yeah.
Big Fan: Here we go. Biggie got nominated by Gloopan Kuratz for his blind defense of Mac, the great mult massacre of 2010, and his douchebagging of Steve Stone. True, that nomination didn’t make the cut this week, but to nominate Godfather because of a silly douchebagging… Biggie even had an out, board members no longer eligible, but he allowed this madness to get to three pages. We know that Bigfan enjoys hunting mults and killing them in his spare time, but do these things make him a DBOTW?
Radio Conspiracy Theories / Soap Operas: Kid Cairo says that all the intrascore rivalries and pissing matches are stupid and for big stupidheads, but he certainly loves a good old fashioned CSFMB pissing match. So, message board rivalries, good. Radio rivalries, gay. This is being included pretty much because I wanted to point that out, and, I don’t want to get hit over the head with my own guitar.
Cutsizzler and ChiCitySports: Ugueth Will Shiv You was one of the many that received an invitation to a rival sports fan message board. I guess this was offensive. It started a wave of trolling that was actually quite well received by the other message board. They actually seemed to enjoy it. Bigfan even allowed a nomination of a board member, albeit a board member of only one day and pretty much only to PM a bunch of the Inner Sanctum of Pricks. Bigfan also managed to duplicate the nomination as well with one of his own. So maybe board members ARE eligible???
High School District 113 Administrators: conns7901 nominated the administrators who have cancelled the Girls Basketball teams’ trip to a tournament in Arizona, because they claim they fear for the safety of the girls because of the new law, not to make a political statement. This is not about politics at all. It’s because they think that the girls might get deported. So, since this is only about safety, should the school administrators be given a medal… or a douchebagging?
