Good morning CSFMB! It’s Friday and it’s time to vote for some douchebags!
Last week was a dual week poll since a certain someone who shall remain nameless tweaked out on covering the poll for me while I was sleeping in late. We ended up selecting two douchebags for the 3rd quarter semi-finals, which are coming up here in three weeks. Wow! Three weeks to a semi, sounds like Aggrivated Bob trying to get a boner. So we selected Tony Dungy for being a sanctimonious prick and the holdouts on the Blago jury. Congrats winners, you’re in the Semifinals.
This week we’ve got:
“Pastor” Terry Jones: Nominated by immessedup17 . This is the idiot pastor from Florida who wants to have “Burn a Quran Day”. How the head of the “Dove World Outreach” center could do something so hateful is a complete mystery. What isn’t a mystery is that when chaspoppcap tells you that you need a reality check, things aren’t looking good for you at all.
Ass-Fingering: This nomination was a shocker. This ass fingering nomination comes from Kid Cairo. It seems that chaspoppcap doesn’t think that getting a couple fingers up your tailpipe is one of those things that necessitate a reality check. Kid disagrees, immediately calling into question not only the manliness of the action but also the lack of patriotism that ass-fingering is a symptom of. Is it possible that this action is getting a bum rap? Or does this nomination get a thumbs-up? Are the subtle jokes too much?
Ken Harrelson: Kid Cairo nominated Hawk for his god awful announcing over the last 10 days or so. Hawk has been going on and on about umpire conspiracies, and bad calls, and he’s brainwashed Frank Thomas into saying stupid things right along with him. Even the hardcore Sox fans know Hawk is a bad listen, and are having trouble reconciling his behavior. He’s always been a bit of a homer and a jerkstore when talking about the Umpires, but did it go a little over the top this week?
Big Fan: HOVA brings the pain in a nomination of our Dear Leader and Godfather, bigfan. I will admit that this whole nomination had me as uncomfortable as a finger in the bunghole. Biggie was hit because he seems to have deleted a thread about a free pick ‘em league that HOVA was hosting. It get a little nasty when Brick and Irish Boy got on the bandwagon. This nastiness spilled over into the DBOTW poll from last week, needlessly involving the DBOTW brand. Which was upsetting because now I’m supposed to write fucking three of these things to keep all factions happy. So what the fuck man. Anyhow, if bigfan was a douchebag for popping that post, vote!
Spree Maygent: How could a Douchebag of the Week poll not include a nomination from Ugueth Will Shiv You? And this one is actually about a board member. Interesting. Have the rules evolved? Are things changing? What happened? It would seem that Ugie created the nomination for this guy for soliciting the advice of the board whilst in the midst of a quandary and then ignoring all the sane advice. It was followed up by some bragging, including a sig line. Was ugie onto something, or is he showing that he is taking the whole situation too seriously?
PEOPLE: And not just terrorists, baby tossers, cop killers and law haters… but everybody. That’s right, cubbiesgirlshamus has gotten her little gift from mother nature this week, and felt that we all need to know about it. This wide ranging nomination includes all of humanity since the dawn of time. So, if everybody everywhere is a douchebag, even you, click this and vote!
