Have you found me an example yet that doesn't fit the context? Darko and Spaulding are working hard on it. Maybe you can help them.

Or you could tell me how not getting in a room with other people infringes on your personal ability to worship.

Either one would be awesome.

I'm not sure what you mean by this...you're interpretation of Matthew 6 had no context.

[i]Believers are encouraged to, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward loe and good dees, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the having of doing, but encouraging one another..." (Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV).

Corporate worship goes back to the Old Testament and is a part of Judaism and Islam as well.

Right. So please link me to which Mosque or Temple is raising a stink right now. Thanks.

There are none at this time that I'm aware of. Because they aren't protesting, other faiths should just shut up? Still not following the original premise that by following Matthew 6 you should have no problem with the government telling you not to publicly worship because those people are hypocrites. Your end point now has nothing to do or connects with where you started.

You guys ever read section 7 of the Illinois emergency management act?
Chilling stuff in there.
p(4) On behalf of this State to take possession of, and to acquire full title or a lesser specified interest in, any personal property as may be necessary to accomplish the objectives set forth in Section 2 of this Act, including: airplanes, automobiles, trucks, trailers, buses, and other vehicles; coal, oils, gasoline, and other fuels and means of propulsion; explosives, materials, equipment, and supplies; animals and livestock; feed and seed; food and provisions for humans and animals; clothing and bedding; and medicines and medical and surgical supplies; and to take possession of and for a limited period occupy and use any real estate necessary to accomplish those objectives; but only upon the undertaking by the State to pay just compensation therefor as in this Act provided, and then only under the following provisions:
It goes on to describe the mechanics behind how things are taken and how fair market value compensation is paid (eventually). A fun little nugget in there seems to say that if your property is taken, and any debate ensues as to fair value that ultimately is determined by the court, when value is established, it is paid, minus taxes due during the legal process. That's nice.

The not getting in a room with other people determined by the government is the infringement on personal ability to worship and restriction on the 1st amendment.

You don't value church or religion. That's fine. (Darkside doesn't value it but he does value the 1st amendment.) Others do and they have a protected right.

It would seem non-mainline Christian Churches...Megachurches if you will.

Right but they aren't. The people you are stanning for are the exact people the verse is talking about.

Try to think of it as Darkside does. He doesn't care about religion. He cares that there is a 1st amendment protecting a right that specifically states it's protection from the government.

Also most people do not attend church so they can say look at me praying and going to church. They value it for a variety of reasons.

Because a group is complaining about being prohibited from worship...but others aren't...that makes them hypocrites as per your interpretation of Matthew 6. I bet your favorite Steely Dan album is Pretzel Logic as that is all you've had here today.

That's basic eminent domain language

constitution allows specifically talks about the taking of property for just compensation

Ok I guess I understand eminent domain incorrectly. I always thought of it land. At least when we got socked with it it was land. This lists vehicles, food, medicine... even occupation of residences. Is that basic eminent domain?

its all public takings

lousy limeys used to take without just compensation

everything you own is a grant from the government whose authority is a grant from that thing you don't believe in. They let you own it but reserve the right to be a native american giver.

lousy limeys used to take without just compensation

everything you own is a grant from the government whose authority is a grant from that thing you don't believe in. They let you own it but reserve the right to be a native american giver.

Right yeah ok. I remember something from civics about how prior to the constitution the government didnt even have to pay you for taking unimproved land.

He wants a total fucking quarantine for 2 weeks no going out at all? no shopping no nothing? Is he fucking insane? Not only is it almost impossible food/economically wise but mental health wise. There is a reason why hermits and monks are mostly insane.

12,000 cases in Illinois with a 12 million population.
That is a quick 1/10th of 1%,
and has thrown millions of people out of work and will bankrupt 1000's of
businesses.

And Gov. Jelly Belly wants to close up more. WTF
