Silver could've flat no commented the question; and his response teasing that they found out more seemed unnecessary given his stated unwillingness to talk about it now. But it wasn't a case where he jumped on mic just to talk about Morant's situation. He was talking questions about everything and obviously Morant's situation was going to come up. If that's the response he prepared ahead of time to try to downplay it...didn't work.
