I was reading something about a case in California. Officer complaints dropped 80% and use of force by officers dropped 60%. Seems like a no brainer.

They really need a third party keeping peace here. After what happened with the cop killer in califoria (Dorner) who took on the police. I can't imagine how quickly this goes down hill if this turns violent.

I think it will have the opposite effect. The cops will crack down harder and this will start becoming the norm. We might be in real trouble.
