Yeah, but do you really need to pass high school geometry to be a police officer or whatever? I mean, at the end of the day you at least have to have enough mental capacity to know that you shouldn't shoot an unarmed 18 year old teen, that presents zero immediate danger to you, multiple times.

That has to be the baseline, right?

tl;dr for today so far:

- Alderman Antonio French was released this morning after being arrested for "not listening" (aka being an uppity black guy).

- Anonymous posted what may be a false name/photo of officer involved in Mike Brown shooting; subsequently that twitter account was suspended.

- Gov Nixon and Sen McCaskill arrived in St Louis and held press conferences ... Gov Nixon promised a different tone to the handling of situation by law enforcement. Crisis has been taken out of the hands of the St Louis County Police Dept. and handed over to the FBI ... McCaskill called for demilitarization of police (I think on site, not in general ... the latter would be good though).

- Pres. Obama held a press conference at 12:45p from Martha's Vineyard.

- There is a rally at the Ferguson Police/Fire Dept. Appears to be lead by Lawyers for Black Justice. Speculation is that protest will be an all-day affair.

- Demonstrators are at the burnt out gas station/quickie mart on W Florissant. Stacks of water and provisions are on hand.

- Stories and details from last night are still being posted and discovered. The 2 reporters arrested last night are giving interviews and sharing info.

RUMORS circulating about county police being switched out for national guard ... also, RUMORS about an impending FBI announcement that no charges will be filed against the officer regarding the shooting (which, if true, right or wrong, really is going to turn this into the biggest naval battle since The Jutland ... it's never a bad time for oblique Hunt for Red October references).

Obviously Obama is doing a False Flag something or other.

All of the cops standing there in camo with WAY too much weaponry are following orders and doing their job. They can't be expected to walk away and not follow orders.
The police chief(s) of Ferguson and St. Louis county should be fired already for their decisions and actions. The cop that started all of this should be held accountable.....3 days ago.

Or - just start killing the cops that are standing there. That will solve it.
