But that's kind of the point. I've seen you discuss this with other posters. I know that youth sports is something you like and have participated in with your son. I think that's fine and I would never criticize you for that. But when it becomes this thing that is so important that we're conducting inquiries or suing, etc. I think priorities are a bit out of whack.

I doubt you follow that line of thinking in your life. Some things just aren't that important. Youth sports is one of them even if others treat it like it matters.

I don't totally disagree, but if cheating is going on, it just can't be ignored in my opinion. I feel as bad as anybody for the kids, but you have to try and stop if you are the Little League Organization.

There's all this money and national exposure involved with this shit, which brings about people trying to cheat the system to gain success.

How can it be fair and square though when 1 team was using players that weren't supposed to be on said team? For it to be fair and square I would think you shouldn't be using illegal players.

Well, you know enough about the subject to understand that all areas from which the participants come aren't equal in size and number of players. At its worst this is like going a couple miles over the speed limit. RR has explained that these kids have all been in the league for a long time. I'd feel differently if Darold Butler was driving around Chicago Heights and Dyer scouting sandlots for kids to put on his team.

Pretty much. I was on the elliptical at the gym this morning and haven't watched Sportcenter in a long time. Good grief, both anchors rattling off catch-phrases, movie/music references rapid-fire, it was sensory overload. I lasted 5 minutes (w/ Sportscenter).

That is easy to say but my point is that you likely engage in "cheating" pretty often and don't really think much about it.

If all cheating is significant, then you must have a lot of things to be sorry for. For instance, I've jaywalked before, which is against the law, but I didn't find it to be a significant offense. You would have to think my offense was significant.
