9 is a reasonable time. right? most of these are done at 7! SEVEN!

9 is way too late. I have little kids, I don't want a crowd of 7 loud 10 year olds at my house banging on the door at 8:45. Lights get shut off when the kids go to bed. Hell my 6 year old is in bed by 830 if he has school the next day.

thats what turning the lights off is for! regardless its Halloween! 1 night out of the year. school is overrated.

I'm not sure when it became acceptable rather than ridiculed for every children's event to include alcohol for parents.

Slutty costumes, on the other hand, are perfectly acceptable

I agree with everything posted here. Well said Dolphin

Along those lines, I recently learned that they serve beer and mixed drinks at my nephew's baseball games. I'm an advocate of booze pretty much anywhere, but this seems odd to me. And if there are any non-parents that attend the games of 15-year-olds to booze it up and watch baseball, that is particularly creepy.

I'm well past that time in my life where that is a care. However, I wouldn't be surprised if that is how I am viewed by the neighborhood people who a year or so later are "taking a break from drinking."

Because that will help them to not yell at coaches, umps, and players....

Yes but it's more for you and 1 block.

Fun size is the best. The minis suck.

As a kid,I used to come home after trick or treating and give most of my candy to my friends. I never was much for candy except a box of snaps or a chunky raisin bar.

This

I never quite understood the handing out of full sized candy bars at Halloween. It's great to have the fun sized...the full sized candy bars are more like an entire meal for a kid.

...and

Whoever came up with the idea of pulling a cart with a cooler of beer around, whilst the kiddies do their TorT'ing, is a genius! FUGD

You probably love the black Chuckle too.

WTF is a charlston raisin bar?

If Trump outlawed Trick or Treating I'd consider voting for him.

That said, I agree ... yes.

Chuckles! I've heard there is an all red pack but have never seen it. I liked those Sunkist fruit gems too.

They stock Chuckles in the vending machine at work.

The green ones are my favorite.
