It was just brought up on a news show about how Obama kept setting red lines that can't be crossed in Syria and then just let them be crossed. It was posited it was solely due to wanting or needing to get the Iran deal done. They also said it was why Obama also always uses ISIL rather than ISIS like everyone else. The last S is Syria and he couldn't piss off or go hard on Iran backed Syria.
