Nas made a statement of fact: "he apologized".

I applied the colloquial definition of "apologize" to the words and sentiments espoused by Sherman after the events, and found them severely lacking of the key elements of an apology (remorse as opposed to regret, as well as identification of specific wrongdoing). Thus, Nas's statement of fact was in error, Sherman actually had not "apologized", merely "expressed some unknown amount of regret".

If I said something offensive to you, and my apology went "I'm sorry you're so offended", you would be correct in observing that what I said isn't actually apologetic, even in the face of me saying "Dude, I apologized, what do you want?".

I expressed no expectation that Sherman apologize.

Because you're bringing up. First you insinuated that I believe that you and others that are complaining are racist. You edited that out of your post. Next you insinuated that I only have an issue with your gripe because Sherman is black. You did that by asking me if I would say the same thing if it were Cutler.
