The main complaint about Buck is that he overloves superstars right?
I feel like he blows both sides equally
He wanted to have Javier Baez's baby while simultaneously giving Corey Kluber a Schaumburg Slurpee

for me it's always that feeling like joe buck "presides" over the game. idk if i can ever properly describe the feeling i get in words, but it's just like he transcends what's going on and he parts clouds from the heavens to personally tell us little people what we think we're seeing with our proletariat eyes.

oh, and you can definitely tell that he wants to have his own legendary call like his daddy's "go crazy! go crazy folks!!" so he gets extra-faclempt around big moments/times in games and noticeably goes out of his way to try saying something transcendental like the ten commandments. he really really wants to be remembered for everything that his dad was... but on/in his own terms! got that?!

Sini I agree totally. Your best post ever. Brief and on point. Please do this again in the future. Thanks.

I get the "presides" thing from Al Michaels and I hate it.
