There have been numerous indications that people have abused their power at the NSA by tracking ex-girlfriends. Facebook is the same way. So if their is now a DNA registry who is to say that law enforce can just say we found their DNA at the scene? Can most suspects afford to have experts to refute that? It's virtually an ironclad conviction.

I don't view law enforcement as the enemy like you do. Of course any information can be misused and it may happen but I'm not going to worry about law enforcement having this ability when there are so many simpler ways to frame me for murder if they so choose.
