I'm simply laughing at what lengths people will go to to not give him credit for ANYTHING. Think about what you're arguing.

Who isn't giving him credit? He played a great 4 quarters...should have had a shot to win it at the end. But in OT he was terrible.

The guy had 51 points on 60% shooting and nearly beat GS by himself but is being criticized.

Did you watch the game?

Do you applaud when he makes the "correct basketball play" by dishing to a bum in crunch time instead of taking it to the hole?

I think we had this convo before.

MJ dished to Paxson several times to win game 5 against LA for the first ring.

MJ passed on the deciding play of the third ring.

MJ passed to Kerr to win #5.

MJ passed to Wennington to win the double nickle game in NY.

This is all presumably okay with you. Why do you have double standards?

And you're still wrong.

Michael dishing was the exception, LeBron dishing is the rule.

And Michael dishing to Paxson and Kerr after he drove and got a double or triple team. LeBron does it when there is still a shot to be had.

Also, how many playoff games did MJ just get basket after basket in iso to seal the game? Too many to count. How many times has Bron done that? Twice?

And that's the other thing, its not like LeBron does it once out of necessity, he does it repeatedly.

He's done that this whole year in the playoffs.

Not in the one game I watched!

i think they bench him for most of game 2. Has he been any good in the playoffs this year? I remember he could get on hot streaks in previous years but also go on ice cold streaks. We always knew the dude was not the smartest basketball player in the world. he's had issues w/ the knicks. it's following him around. Thought getting w/ Lebron would straighten the guy out but he just loses it sometimes.

I think what happened was when Hill was shooting the 2nd FT, he probably already had in his mind we're going to be up 1. then when it missed, he probably still had it in his head they were up 1 instead of realizing it was tied.

Only by idiots. He’s actually being nearly universally praised today

He had a wonderful game. I strongly question the decisions at the end of game and OT.

I didn’t really take your post as criticism. I think it’s fair to question why he was so deferential in OT. His overall game was pretty much beyond criticism though.

Jordan used to get criticized for putting up big numbers in playoff losses early in his career. The criticisms stopped because he didn't lose.
